Do you have my keys?
While shopping at JoAnn's this morning, we lost the car keys. I probably don't have to remind anyone that JoAnn's is a GIANT store with TONS of shelves and even TONS more stuff on those shelves. I asked Jaidyn to hold the keys while I looked through a few things. Somewhere along the way they got away from her. Poor Jaidyn was so worried she couldn't stop crying. I was trying to be the calm mom and help her try and remember where she had them last. Needless to say it took us over 90 minutes to retrace our steps at least 6 to 8 times, much talking, moving merchandise, a quiet prayer at the end of an aisle, and 10 to 12 not so helpful employees to find them. Where you ask? In a $1 bin under a lot of stuff. I don't know what made us look there, divine guidance I'm sure because they weren't going to be happened upon by anyone not looking for them. Jaidyn swears she will never be responsible for the keys again. I felt so bad for her, she just kept apologizing and saying that it was all her fault. I knew it wasn't done on purpose, and in the end, all is well. After that kind of start to the day, staying at home sounded best.

Way to keep your cool, I am so proud of you. I would have been a raving lunatic. Although I do have to question why you would put your 8 year old in charge of the keys? There must of been some pretty great stamps you had to check out! :) I am happy for you & Jaidyn that you found the keys.
The dollar bins are always such an attraction. I usually put my keys in a pocket, pants, jacket, ect. so that I can feel where they are at. LOL I am glad you found them, its times like that when I think, why did I not spend the 9.95 and get the key chain that when you clap it whistles??!!
Sweet Jaiden. She has such a tender heart. I am glad you found the keys.
I haven't watched the Bachelor in several years, but you are making me feel interested in watching it again. We'll see if I have the time considering I have plenty of shows on my DVR as well.
